Earth Day
There are in fact two earth days the United Nations celebrate in on the vernal equinox in March and its also acknowledge on April 22nd
John McConnell designed the flag after he suggested the idea for the ay in 1969 the first Earth Day taking place in 1970
Both as the name suggests are to honour the Earth and hightlight enviromental concerns
