Contacting Faeries

The first things to do before you can contact fairies is believe in them, if you don't believe then you will never see

If you can then learn to meditate

They love music and dancing

Spend time with nature - water the house plants, or go for a walk through the countryside

Think of the spirit that lays within each flower, each tree, each pool of water that you come to

Feel your own emotions whether they be happy or sad, be true to what you feel at that moment

Touch nature - sit on the grass, stroke the leaves of a plant and even hug a tree

Listen to nature - hear the leaves rustle, the birds sings, the stream flowing

Taste nature - when you eat fruit, vegetables, herbs etc take your time

See if any images, colours etc come to mind

Offerings to the Faeries

Faeries may be attracted into visiting you if offerings are left to them

The fae will not physically eat these gifts but will touch them or if left outside an animal may eat them for the faerie

The most important thing is not what the offering is but that it is given with honour towards the faeries.

Faerie Altars

This can be anywhere in your home or even in your garden.

Your offerings to the faeries could be placed here

Decorate it with figurines, feathers, crystals, water, flowers, little bells etc

Burn incense or light candles (Although do not leave anything burning unsupervised)
