A land owner in the 11th century named Wild Edric came across some tall ladies dancing. He fell in love one them kidnapping her. For four days she would not talk but when she did she told him never to reproach her for anything to do with her sisters or where she had come from or else he would lose her. For many years they were happy together until he could not find her one day. When she appeared he said, "I suppose it is your sisters who have detained you for such a long time, have they not?" She vanished and he died of sorrow
