Arennig Fawr

On the western side of the mountain are some caves that are believed to be fairy dwellings and fairies were often seen here.

Bwlch y Groes

SH 914230

These mountains are home to many fairies

Cadair Idris

Fairies also live in these mountains. They often disguised themselves as humans and visited local people. If they were kind to the strangers they were rewarded if they turned them away bad luck would befall them

Corwrion

SH 597688

The pool here was once much larger into which the town of Corwrion sank. The lake is said to be bottomless and the home of fairies.
