A thin gold wire is said to mark where a pot of gold is buried.

 

Ogo Hole, Llanymynech Hill

Also known as Ogof

This is a cave on the border of England and Wales which was a Roman copper mine. The cave does not go more than 200 yards into the hill although its believed to go under the rivers Tanat and Vyrnwy and under the Cross Keys hotel.

 

 

Mitchell's Fold

Fold means Farmyard. A pure white fairy cow lived at this stone circle. The cow gave milk to everyone who came so long as they weren't greedy. Then one a witch milked her with a sieve and sent the cow crazy. The witch was turned to stone and is said to be the largest stone in the circle
