Mellor Moor
The old earthworks on the moor is believed to be the site of a underground city. Fairy bells and parties can be heard here. If the fairies appear in military uniform then it foretells a civil disturbance.

Arthur's Hole, River Ribble
This cave was home to fairies named Mikel and Lob, they told miners where silver was hidden. An illegal mint was set up by the miners and when the police called Mikel and Hob gave a man a silver bit for his horse so he could escape. The horse became capable of jumping a 90 foot cliff now known as Pudsay's Leap.

This is another moor where fairies have been seen often they are milking cows. Green jackets were worn by the fairy men and white stockings were worn by the women
